YOUTH PROGRAMS

The American Legion believes that the more knowledge our youth gain, the better citizens they will become. That is why the American Legion is so committed to education. Investing in the education of our youth is investing in the future of our country. The American Legion supports a number of scholarship and sport programs that benefit youth in Alexandria. We often hear about the difference American Legion scholarships and opportunities make in young persons’ lives by providing unimagined experiences and expanding their horizons.
